Privacy Policy
How Madaraka Logistics collects, stores, and protects personal information across bookings, driver onboarding, and warehouse listings.
This page is a structural placeholder pending a full legal/POPIA review — the section list below is final, the text under each heading is not published yet.
- 01
What personal information is collected (client account/contact details, driver ID and vehicle documents, warehouse KYC/certs/licences, wallet transaction data, expense-claim receipts)
- 02
Website and app traffic logging — the full IP address, browser user-agent and referring site recorded against every page view, plus a random browser-generated identifier used to count returning visitors as one person
- 03
Sign-in records — the email address or phone number tried, whether it succeeded, and the IP address it came from, including refused attempts, kept as the only means of detecting password guessing
- 04
Retention periods, stated separately for each of the above: IP-bearing records expire from the searchable store after 90 days, while the underlying append-only event log that serves as the platform's audit record is not truncated
- 05
Legal basis for processing (POPIA)
- 06
How data is stored (data residency to be confirmed)
- 07
Third parties data is shared with, if any
- 08
Data subject rights under POPIA and how to exercise them
- 09
Contact details for a designated Information Officer
