Madaraka Logistics runs two service lines. Parcels, laundry, prescriptions, gas and groceries for people at home. Bakkie-to-interlink freight, scheduled milk runs, contracted route bundles and verified warehousing for businesses. Both are prepaid, tracked and cashless from the first booking.
Our mission
To make getting something moved in South Africa a decision you can make in a minute, at a price you can see, whether it is a bag of washing or four tons of stock.
That sounds small. It is not. Most goods in this country still move on a phone call to somebody with a bakkie, cash handed over on arrival, and no record if anything goes wrong. It works until a fuel price moves and an informally agreed price blows up, or a delivery is disputed and there is no proof either way, or a business grows into needing storage it cannot yet justify a lease for. We are building the version of that arrangement where the price is known up front and the job leaves a record.
What we hold to
The price before the job, not after
Every quote is calculated before anything is booked, including the return leg, the tolls and the fuel adjustment. The adjustment moves against the published DMRE wholesale diesel price, so when it changes we can show you why. Nobody arrives at your gate to renegotiate.
No cash, on either side
Deliveries are paid from a prepaid balance and drivers carry nothing. That removes the argument at the door, the risk on the road, and the awkward conversation when a job costs more than the notes in somebody's pocket.
Proof, not recollection
Every job has a number, a tracked route and a photograph at hand-over. When something goes wrong the question is what the record shows, not whose memory is louder.
The driver has to make money too
Our drivers own their vehicles, so fuel and tyres come out of their fee rather than ours. We model what a job actually costs them before we price it, because a delivery that pays us well and quietly ruins the driver is not a delivery that happens twice.

You can see the price without asking anybody
Put in two addresses and the quote is on the screen. No call, no waiting for someone to come back to you, no different number depending on who picks up.
One company for a parcel and for a pallet
A scooter for a script and an interlink for a full load, on the same account. Most businesses are running two arrangements for this, and the small one is usually somebody's cousin.
The paperwork travels with the job
A collection code, a customer's ID or a prescription is attached to the booking, so the driver has it at the counter instead of phoning you from the queue.
Storage without a lease
Pallet space by the month at an inspected facility, on the same fleet that delivers. Growing businesses need storage long before they can justify signing for a warehouse.
Where we run
The honest answer is that the quote page knows better than a map does. Give it two addresses and it measures the road between them, tolls included, and tells you what the trip costs.
What we can name is the QwaQwa to Bethlehem corridor, which we run often enough to price as a fixed route. It goes loaded in both directions, so it is cheaper than an ad-hoc booking over the same distance: nobody is paying for an empty vehicle coming home.
Our drivers own their own vehicles and choose the work they take, within the zones and services they are approved for. It means we grow by earning drivers rather than by buying trucks, and it means a driver who is good at a route keeps that route.
